Chalasani Turbine Private Limited is founded by Chalasani Veerabhadra Rao, inventor of Chalasani Turbine and Boyapati Mukherjee. Anil Ravi from California, USA has joined as director. Chalasani Turbine (Patent Pending) magnifies the energy given to it by water. Normally Hydraulic Turbines convert the energy of water into usable Mechanical Energy with less than 100% efficiency. But Chalasani Turbine magnifies the energy given to it by water. As a result if presently a Hydro-Turbine is generating 1MV, Chalasani Turbine generates 10MV for the flow of same water.
